MLKs march on Washington 50 years ago was a turning point in America’s history. This march was the embodiment of MLKs philosophy and spirituality of non-violence. You can imagine if this march had not happened that America would not be where it is today or America could not call herself the leader of the free world. Many non-white and non-black people would not have made the progress they have made. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindall would not be a governor today and Senator Ted Cruz would not be a Senator today. Yes, non-white people in America are living a better life today because of MLKs march on Washington 50 years ago.
